You know, I bought the Traders International course back in January 2008 and this is my Traders International Review. I had been saving up for a while because this was the course that I really wanted. I'd done my research on other courses and felt that this one was the most comprehensive and intensive.
Well when I got the pack, I realised that the words comprehensive and intensive summed it up perfectly! Now I had some previous experience in shares, just some personal investing in shares and then intra-week trading in CFD's (Contracts For Difference). So I was able to understand more of the terminology than brand new traders would.
But I had never done any day trading so the speed and volitility of the market was a new experience. As with any new thing, I was totally engrossed in the learning and finished the online e-course within two weeks. I felt at that stage I had a basic understanding of the methodology that Traders International use and I couldn't wait to see it in action.
I then moved into the learning by doing phase where I watched what was going on in the trading rooms, watched the charts and paper traded. Oh... I made many mistakes in that phase. Just mastering the trading platform was an art in itself. I placed (paper) trades at the wrong price, the wrong time and even the wrong direction! So all in all it took me about 3 months of paper trading before I reached 15 out of 20 profitable days. Traders International review your paper trading success before 'letting' you out into the market but once I had reached that goal, they still held my hand and helped me with the questions that still came up.
All in all, I was very happy with Traders International and their course. I will say though, it's not for the faint hearted and obviously it's not a get rich now kind of thing. The learning curve is very steep and you need to be committed to that learning. And although you CAN start with the minimum trading account size ($2,000) I wouldn't recommend it as this does not allow for the fluctuations in the market and your trading.

I signed up for TI 4 yrs ago and have been very very successful trader because of what I learned from them and the techniques they taught me. The truth is , trading is not that difficult. Every book we read says how difficult it is and that is why everyone thinks you have to develop the system with 100 moving parts to make it a successful system. The opposite is actually where the truth lies. My opinion is that the authors of all these books who claim trading is so hard is probably bc they do not know how to trade themselves and only know how to write books.
